LSAMP offers AEWs, which are group study sessions peer‐led by trained facilitators.  AEW’s promote excellence and facilitate mastery of course content through group interaction. They extend beyond application, going into analysis and synthesis of content, and promoting excellence in foundational courses that freshmen & sophomores struggle in, including mathematics, chemistry, and computer science. Workshops take place twice a week, two hours per session.

Surveys have shown that participants in workshops achieve one grade higher in these courses than if they had not been in an AEW. To sign up for a workshop or individual tutoring, visit the LSAMP/SEES office (3-2123)
