About the Program
Seek to understand the effects of human behavior and become a more informed contributor to our increasingly diverse and complex world. Dive deeper into topics like race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, immigration and migration, and urban life, all while strengthening your research and critical thinking skills. We have two program options: General Sociology and Social Work.
The Polytechnic Approach
Here, you won’t just study theory—you’ll practice it. Work with city governments to study housing, intern at nonprofits to assist communities or use data analysis tools to tackle real societal issues. You’ll build your resume by immersing yourself in the field, graduate with a better understanding of sociological phenomena and have the hands-on experience to enter your dream career.
