As a part of orientation, we value your voice as an incoming student. We understand that your needs are unique, so we have included learning pathways for you to have a choice in your orientation experience. Below are four learning pathways, please read through each description and select the one that resonates with you the most. Each pathway will include representatives from campus resources and support services that will help you as you transition to Cal Poly Pomona.
Pathway A:
Are you eager to immerse yourself in Cal Poly Pomona’s campus and social life? By choosing this pathway, you’ll unlock strategies for maximizing your student journey through dynamic social interactions, creating meaningful connections with peers, and learning ways to engage through workshops and events.
Pathway B:
Are you unsure where to begin or what to expect from the college experience? This pathway provides newcomers with a comprehensive introduction to the Bronco experience. By selecting this pathway, you’ll learn about essential resources, understanding common college terms, and equip yourself with the necessary tools to be successful from day one.
Pathway C:
Will you live off-campus or at a distance from campus? Do you need to access resources that will help you thrive on campus? This pathway offers strategies for students with outside commitments to engage with CPP in a flexible and efficient manner. By opting for this pathway, you’ll learn to navigate campus spaces, explore programs, and ultimately get the most out of CPP.

Are you eager to dive deep into academic pursuits and embrace the hands-on, learn by doing approach of the Polytechnic Experience? This pathway shines a spotlight on academic excellence and leadership development opportunities. By selecting this pathway, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of academic support, student engagement centered around academic topics, and unique opportunities to further develop your leadership skills.
