Cal Poly Pomona’s Pepperzania sale, kicking off on April 19, makes the list of Earth Day-themed ways to celebrate plants. The annual event offers a wide selection of hot and sweet pepper plants, including Asian varieties, jalapeño, hatch, poblano/mole, serrano, bells and specialty peppers like Ghost and Count Dracula. The peppers are grown by plant science students and proceeds benefit the program and students at the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture.
