Help Students' Dreams Take Flight with Bronco Launchpad
Bronco Launchpad, a two-week online crowdfunding event to fund campus’ most interesting and timely initiatives, is your chance to ignite student success and make a difference! The annual event kicks off today.
From Oct. 14 to 25, donors will have the opportunity to fund student-led initiatives and empower the community. Some of this year’s causes include providing professional development for CPP’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, fueling the travel of the women’s volleyball team and modernizing the Veterans Resource Center.
To view a complete list of projects and organizations, visit crowdfund.cpp.edu and explore the various descriptions and giving levels that will make the proposals a reality. For example:
- $10 will purchase a student’s graduation tassel
- $20 will provide a head lamp for students researching bats during Fall Bat Week
- $50 will purchase shot puts for track and field athletes to train and compete at the highest level possible
- $100 will help cover transportation and food costs for BASES Scholars during their educational excursions and community-building events
- $300 will fund one night’s hotel stay for three student delegates of the Model Organization of American States
- $600 will provide a camera and other critical equipment for a semester of hands-on work in an industrial science optics class
With more than 50 initiatives across all colleges and departments, everyone can find a cause that resonates with them.
