Master's Degree in Education Rated Among Nation's Best

ENV Graduate students smile during the 2023 commencement ceremonies.

The Cal Poly Pomona Master of Arts in Education was one of only seven programs rated a full five stars in Money’s “Best Education Master’s Programs for Your Money 2024.” The ratings are based on affordability, employment outcomes and typical graduate earnings.

A teacher can provide a student with life-changing moment, or a classroom with information or experiences that shape their lives forever. A transformative educational leader can steward an institution toward great success for many.

Situated with the College of Education and Integrative Studies (CEIS), the Master of Arts in Education degree program offers three areas of emphasis: curriculum and instruction, special education and ed leadership, which prepares scholar-practitioners to serve as transformative leaders who engage in collaborative processes to implement positive change; and ensure that the voices and lived experiences of their community are equally valued.

The master’s degree program provides teachers and educational leaders with the knowledge, experiential learning and collaborative opportunities to lead their classrooms and institutions to success with creativity and reflective critical thinking.

CPP’s unique program offers students the opportunity to pursue both a credential and a master’s degree simultaneously.

All programs are fully accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and meet all state teacher preparation standards.
