Cal Poly Pomona will celebrate research and creativity this spring as colleges and departments from across campus recognize students through the Celebration of Research, happening online from April 20 to May 13.
The third annual event is an effort lead by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) to feature the creativity, discovery, and innovation of Cal Poly Pomona students from all majors and disciplines.
"We're excited to continue showcasing the research and creativity that occurs across campus," said Lauren Bernal, Graphic Designer and Program Coordinator for the OUR. "Despite the difficult year, Cal Poly Pomona students have accomplished a lot, and that's worth celebrating."
Student research, scholarship, and creative activities will all be featured on the OUR website, with a spotlight about each college or department. This includes virtual events, research profiles, faculty mentor recognitions, virtual art galleries, and the upcoming Scholar Recognition Magazine. The OUR will post daily on its Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts to highlight the excitement and encourage the CPP community to attend the events or engage with the content.
