CPP to Raise Awareness, Host Constitution Week

Cal Poly Pomona will host a virtual Constitution Week from Sept. 17-24 to raise awareness about civic engagement and encourage voter registration for the November election. A summary of what is to come:

Constitution Day - Sept. 17

  • Hosted by ASI Student Government, the official ASI Instagram will be full of infographics about the U.S. Constitution - complete with a follow up trivia quiz on their Instagram Story to test your knowledge. See if you can score 100%
  • The University Library is hosting a virtual event with political science professor Dr. Elli Menounou, who will break down of the Constitution. Learn avenues for amendments, pros and cons of a new Constitutional Convention and much more. Open to all faculty, staff and students. Register here.

Know Your Representatives - Sept. 18

  • ASI Student Government will be sharing information about our local, state and federal representatives in government - most importantly, the best ways to engage with them.

National Voter Registration Day - Sept. 22

  • Make sure you're following the official ASI Instagram in preparation for National Voter Registration Day. You'll learn how the voter registration process works, and engage with four key videos on these topics:
    • Black and Brown Healing Project
    • Turbo Vote
    • Voting is Our Duty
    • Engage with Local Legislatures
