Three Cal Poly Pomona students were awarded Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships, granting them the opportunity to study abroad during the 2020 spring semester.
Over 5,000 students from around the country applied in 2019 and just over 1,300 were offered awards to participate in credit-bearing study abroad programs and career-oriented internships in countries all over the world.
The Gilman Scholarship Program provides up to $5,000 - or $8,000 including the critical need language award - for undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens and Federal Pell Grant recipients at two-year or four-year institutions.
