Celebrate Earth Day at CPP's Lyle Center

The Lyle Center will celebrate Earth Day with a festival on April 22.

The Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies at Cal Poly Pomona is celebrating Earth Day with a festival that includes presentations and hands-on activities about aquaculture, composting, medicinal backyard gardens and more.

The Earth Day Festival on April 22, which is open to the public, will highlight sustainable practices at home and in the community. In addition, the event will offer tours of the Lyle Center and interactive activities in science and engineering for children.

Experts in the field of regenerative studies, including Dr. James Adams, a Chumash healer and associate professor of pharmacology at USC, will share their knowledge on topics ranging from the healing properties of medicinal plants to sustainable health and beauty care.

Tours of the 16-acre Lyle Center will highlight the sustainable architecture features as well as the natural resources and native plants.
