Cal Poly Pomona has been named a "2018 Best College for Business Majors" by Money Magazine. The university is No. 35 on the list based on estimated price with and without financial aid, the percent of students who receive grants, average student debt and early career earnings for business majors.

According to Money, "Nearly one in five [of all college] graduates earned a bachelor's degree in business in 2017-it's the most popular undergraduate major. These 50 colleges place high in our overall ranking, have large shares of students majoring in business subjects, and produce top salaries for graduates who studied business."

The university's College of Business had approximately 4,900 majors in Fall 2017 and offers a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with eight concentrations and several career tracks for highly-specialized fields of study. For graduate students, the college offers a Masters of Business Administration, Master of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy.

Joining Cal Poly Pomona in the top 50 were San Jose State (No. 8), Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (No. 43), California State University Chico (No. 45) and San Diego State (No. 49).
