Mariachi Los Broncos de Pomona was featured in the Daily Bulletin's Feb. 22 story "Mariachi on campus? Cal Poly Pomona students find they are suited to it." The group began in assistant music professor Jessie Vallejo's Latin American Ensemble class in 2016. Grammy-winning musician Jesús Guzmán works with the group during master classes. Mariachi Los Broncos has two upcoming concerts: Saturday, March 24, at Pomona College's Bridges Hall of Music at 8 p.m. and Monday, February 26, at Cal Poly Pomona's Music Recital Hall, with $10 admission.
