Freeway Construction Affects Kellogg Drive Exit

Motorists exit the westbound 10 Freeway at Kellogg Drive.

Motorists using the Kellogg Drive exit of the 10 Freeway may experience delays as a California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) project affects traffic flow for the next year.

Caltrans is constructing a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV or carpool) lane in each direction of the freeway. Bridge widening, soundwall and retaining wall construction and ramp work will also take place. The final segment of the I-10 Project began construction April 2016 and will continue through 2021.

For approximately one year, Caltrans will narrow the underpass at Kellogg drive from four lanes to two lanes (one in each direction). The exit will also be closed intermittently from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This will affect motorists exiting from the westbound 10 Freeway at Kellogg Drive or entering the westbound 10 Freeway at that same location. The off ramp from the eastbound 10 Freeway is unaffected.
