Celebrate the holiday season with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, regarded as one of the world's leading choirs, when it performs a special community concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19 in Pomona.

Tickets are just $5, thanks to the sponsorship of several local organizations, including Cal Poly Pomona.

The concert will be held at Pomona First Baptist Church, 601 N. Garey Ave., and will be led by Music Director Grant Gershon, who has earned critical acclaim for his technical and artistic abilities. The chorale will sing a variety of holiday favorites, including "Angels We Have Heard on High," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "The First Noel." In addition, a Haitian Noel, "No??l Ayisyen," will be performed, as will the Jewish hymn "Hiney Mah Tov."
