California Indian Advisory Council

Commencing in 2022, Cal Poly Pomona developed the California Indian Advisory Council (CIAC) with the goals of advancing and strengthening CPP’s relationships with regional Native American tribes and for accomplishing both the spirit and legal requirements of Assembly Bill 275, California Native American Graves Protection & Repatriation Act (CalNAGPRA), and the federal Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
