How to Become a Project SUCCESS Scholar
An application update is communicated via email within 24 to 48 hours after submitting your application.
How to Apply
- Apply and gain admission to Cal Poly Pomona
- Must be an incoming first-time freshmen in college
- Must Identify as a male-of-color
- Must fully complete and submit our myBAR application
- Must be a full-time (12 units each semester) registered Cal Poly Pomona student for the entire 2024 – 2025 academic year
- Expected to maintain a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) during the program, with the goal to achieve no less than a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must enroll in the 3-unit Liberal Studies course for Fall 2024

- Application updates will be communicated via email throughout the summer.
Students admitted into the Project SUCCESS program will receive a permission number via email to enroll in a Liberal Studies course for Fall 2024.
Admitted students will receive information regarding the Project SUCCESS orientation over the summer.
