Application Process
Due to the COVID virus, we are currently not accepting applications. Please check back for updates.
To apply to the FEDCO Classroom Enrichment Fund, you must complete and submit the online application. Submitting your application online is easy; make sure to fill out every field on the application page, then hit "submit." Keep in mind that you must indicate your school administrator's authorization by checking the appropriate box of the online application. Principals will be asked to sign the final grant agreement letter. Applications that are incomplete or late will not be accepted. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL OCTOBER 15, 2021.
ONLINE APPLICATIONS ONLY - We do not accept applications by e-mail, fax, or mail.
Submission Tips: Teachers should apply early, as grants will be made until funds are expended, and field trips often require planning and reservations far in advance. Priority will be given to field trips occurring January 3 through April 29, 2022.
Each teacher can receive up to $500. Multiple teachers at one school may collaborate and submit a joint application to request up to $2,000. Joint applications should be from a team of teachers instructing a similar grade level or subject area at the same school. If you are submitting a joint application, only one teacher may submit an application.
Applicants are required to answer the following questions when submitting the application:
- Why are you choosing to do this project? What specific student needs will the project address?
- Who and how many students will participate? (Include grade level and other demographic information.)
- When and where will your project take place? (Include a timeline.)
- What activities or materials will the project include?
