Richard Zimmer AICP is a full-time adjunct faculty member in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. He has over thirty-five years of experience with federal, state and local agencies and with the development community dealing in urban planning, community development, economic development, and current and advanced planning processing. He teaches courses in planning studios, planning methods, planning theory, policy analysis, development processes, environmental planning and local government regulations and processes. Mr. Zimmer received a Bachelor in Political Science from the Cal Poly Pomona, Pomona, CA, and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.
