My research interest is in the electrochemical characterization of chemical reactions or materials in nanoscale. A wide variety of phenomena are studied including charge-transfer reactions at the solid/liquid, liquid/liquid interfaces, intracellular and extracellular bioelectrochemistry, and cell imaging. The goal of our research is to develop electrochemical sensing strategies for today’s clinical diagnosis and bioelectrochemistry research.
The following is our current research projects:
Project 1: The electrochemical behaviors of a single nanoparticle
Project 2: Fabrication of nanometer-sized carbon paste electrodes
Project 3: Electrochemical reactions in picoliter volume
Project 4: Fabrication of a potentiostat capable of measuring femtoampere current
