Kevin Finch has made a name for himself during his academic career. This Los Angeles native will not only reference the deep tracks of the city on a daily basis, but has also aligned himself with the best designers, thinkers, makers, and doers the region has to offer.
As a son to painters, Kevin has always been involved in the art world. His beginnings as an engineering draftsman and a hobbyist model-maker formed a solid base upon which he could build impressive curriculum vitae. Kevin is a graduate of Cal Poly [BSLA ‘13] as well as a graduate from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, also known as SCI-Arc [M.Arch I ‘17].
After having worked at several design offices in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as San Diego and Mexico, Kevin brings a unique view to the traditional approach of design pedagogy. Kevin has built public works in San Diego County and is currently working on a number of professional design competitions with his firm F.N.S.H.
