His research interests include understanding the human-animal bond, the value of animal assisted therapy, self esteem and children, therapeutic techniques in working with children with attention disorders, the impact of stigma on persons with disabilities and parenting children.
Dr. Fine has authored seven books with his most recent topics being on ADHD/LD, animal assisted therapy, sport psychology, recreation therapy and the relationships with fathers and their sons.
