Compliance Training
Compliance training is required of all CSU employees.
How-To Guides for navigating CSU Learn are available online for both employees and managers.
New state employees (faculty, staff, management, and student employees) need to complete online compliance courses no later than 30 days after their first day of work.
Employees are auto-assigned training through the CSU employee training system, CPP Learning, a week or two before their first paycheck. [Supervisors: After an employee is in active pay status in PeopleSoft-HR, please allow three nights (for overnight processes) to pass before asking the employee to check email for training notices.]
Employees can begin taking training after it has been auto-assigned. Employees should work with their supervisor to schedule time to complete the online training. Please watch for emails from CPPLearning@cpp.edu.

Compliance Training Tips & Re-certification
CPP Learning emails training reminders for courses that need to be retaken (or re-certified). Note that the training status will indicate “Attended”. Please select “Register Again”,Start/Launch the course and click the “Retake” button to recertify.
As a reminder, two trainings require (by law) a minimum number of minutes the learner must be in training. Discrimination and Harassment Prevention for Non-Supervisors requires a minimum of 60 minutes, and Discrimination and Harassment Prevention for Supervisors requires a minimum of 120 minutes. If you complete the modules in less time, the course will ask you to do additional tasks to fulfill the time requirement.
Employees can verify if they have training pending through the CPP Learning portal > Assigned Training.
You will receive a confirmation email 5-10 minutes after completing an online course. If you do not receive it, the training will continue as “in progress” (which may occur if you skipped any content or closed the browser window before the system detected the completion). To resolve this, please re-launch the training and/or review any skipped content.
