EDGE Program
The mission of the CPP EDGE Program is to inspire, ignite learning, and prepare future leaders as they explore and further develop their personal and career aspirations. Participants will gain valuable experience, acquire essential skills, and evolve as leaders and advocates to promote the CPP culture. General Information
Participation in the CPP EDGE Leadership Development Program requires:
- A complete application for review and acceptance
- Attendance and participation in virtual orientation and five of six monthly meetings
- Attendance and participation in one instructor led course.
- Leading at the Speed of Trust or 7 Habits of Highly Effective People- Instructor Led Training
- Completion of Franklin Covey self study learning activities
- Minimum of six months employment with Cal Poly Pomona
- Employed with Cal Poly Pomona, auxiliary, or faculty
- Received an overall performance rating of “Satisfactory” on your most recent review
- Received Manager/Supervisor approval to participate
- Intent to Apply and Application
- Responses to two short essay responses to application questions
- Manager approval
- There are approximately 20 spots available for each six-month program
- Each application will be reviewed to ensure all criteria is met
- All responses to short answers will be reviewed and scored by an impartial selection committee
