Marci Raney
Marci Raney, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at Occidental College. She is a Certified Exercise Physiologist and Physical Activity and Public Health researcher. With over a decade of experience collaborating with public health departments, school districts, hospitals, and nonprofits, she works to decrease income-based disparities in physical activity participation and wellbeing through Living Schoolyard planning and evaluation efforts.
Lara Killick
Lara Killick, PhD, MPH, is the graduate coordinator and an Assistant Professor in Cal Poly Pomona’s department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. She teaches courses in the sociology of health promotion and sport. Her research interests include youth participatory action methodologies, social injustices in sport and health disparities.
Claire Latané
Claire Latané, MLA, is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona and founder of CHILE. She has practiced landscape architecture for 15 years with a focus on health, equity, and climate resilience. Her book Schools That Heal: Design with Mental Health in Mind provides practical solutions to creating inclusive and healing learning environments
