Aerospace Engineering Industry Advisory Board/Council (IAC)

Welcome to Cal Poly Pomona's Aerospace Engineering Department, strategically located in Southern California, a region renowned for its robust aerospace and defense industry, along with related government agencies. We take immense pride in the invaluable support provided by our Industry Advisory Board (IAC), comprising experienced managers and engineers from prominent aerospace companies and government agencies.

Twice a year, our dedicated IAC members convene with our faculty to engage in dynamic discussions encompassing a diverse range of crucial topics. These encompass curriculum development, state-of-the-art laboratory advancements, faculty recruitment, annual design reviews, research initiatives, proposals and grants, noteworthy publications, participation in national competitions, accreditation standards, internship opportunities, and job placements, among other key areas.
