Creative Account Manager, Blueprint Studios
Josh Aldama, CSEP is currently a Creative Account Manager with Blueprint Studios, a California based event design company, since 2017. Prior to Blueprint Studios, Josh began his special events career with MGM Resorts Event Productions in Las Vegas starting as an Event Supervisor and quickly climbed the ladder as an Event Producer planning large corporate, social, internal, & non-profit gatherings. Josh was always intrigued with event planning and his spark was ignited during his studies at CCHM when he joined the, still freshly assembled, Association of Student Event Planners (ASEP) were he eventually served as President as well as Vice President of the Hospitality Management Council (HMC).
Prior to working in events, Josh’s work experience was solely in Food & Beverage. During high school he worked at Knott’s Berry Farm and not long after graduating he was promoted to Area Manager of the Catering Department. From there he moved into full and quick service restaurant management, multi-unit management within the LAX Airport, and part of the opening management team with Sodexo operating the Cast Commissaries at Disneyland Resort.
Josh continues to be active in the industry by being involved with the International Live Events Association (ILEA), currently serving as President for the Los Angeles Chapter. He was also voted by his peers as the 2014 Rising Star in Special Events at Event Solutions’ Spotlight Awards.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys traveling the world with friends, networking at conventions and CCHM Alumni events, contributing to CCHM via auctions at the annual Hospitality Uncorked, and playing video/board games.
