GIS Day 2024 Announced

2024 Cal Poly Pomona GIS (Geographic Information System) Day is a wonderful opportunity, open to the entire CPP community, prospective students from high school to local colleges, organizations, and public & private industries to share and learn about their amazing work. We, CPP, want to connect community, making GIS Day a dynamic and educational experience for all participants.
This year’s GIS Day campus event is filled with panels and hands-on activities by hosting a career panel session with GIS professionals to provide insights into career paths and advancements in the field, featuring student showcases, showcasing real-world applications via the latest GIS technology, and providing GIS hands-on activities and activities, etc. We welcome all our CPP students and students from local high schools and community colleges! Please scan the QR code on the banner image, or click the link above, to *complete RSVP (Eventbrite) and answer registration questions. (*RSVP questions will appear AFTER entering your name and email then clicking the red “Register” button. Please answer all questions.)
A competition involving student submitted StoryMaps will also be hosted. Any student may compete and prizes will be awarded based on submitted content. To find out more, please visit the StoryMaps competition information page below.
