How to Apply for the Co-Op Education Program
I am interested in Cooperative (Co-Op) Education Program. What are my next steps?
To participate in the Co-Op Education Program, you must meet the student eligibility requirements below:
Student Eligibility:
- Current sophomore, junior, or entering first quarter/semester senior level from accredited universities
- GPA 2.5 or greater for undergraduate students
- A minimum of 12 credit units are required.
- Students must be in good academic and ethical standing with their respective university.
- International students are eligible but must follow the criteria set by their institutions' International Student Center.
If you meet the student eligibility requirements, you can complete our Co-Op Education Program Interest Form. Once you have submitted your application, you will be added to the program emailing list. You will be notified with job opportunities related to your major and academic standing.
If you would like to be removed from the emailing list, please email your request to co-op@cpp.edu.
Once hired students are expected to;
- Complete the required Cal Poly Pomona Foundation employee orientation
- Complete the required Co-Op Education Program orientation
- Enroll in a Co-Op/Internship course. Please consult with your faculty and/or department advisor.
- Course enrollment must complete within the first four month of the Co-Op Education Program.
- Provide proof of passing the Co-Op/Internship course.
- Maintain good academic standing with the required 2.5 GPA.
- International students must file the required CPT (Curriculum Practical Training form) with their International Student Center.
- International students must also abide with the requirements/criteria set by their International Student Center.
