BroncoSERV is an online placement tracking software system created by the CSU Chancellor's Office. This system allows students to complete required risk management forms online and provides data of where students are being placed. It is required by the Academic Senate policy that BroncoSERV be used for all service-learning and academic internship courses.

Frequently Asked Questions

BroncoSERV is an online placement tracking software system created by the CSU Chancellor's Office. Students and faculty log into BroncoSERV using your CPP Bronco ID and password.

Follow the step-by-step guidelines to complete your placement.

If you have just registered for an academic internship/service learning course, you will NOT be able to access BroncoSERV for your specific course until the start of the semester.

For example, if you're registering during Spring term for a course in Summer term; your access to BroncoSERV will not start until the beginning of the Summer term.

Timesheet maybe required for academic internship course to complete. However, please confirm with your instructor or course syllabus on how timesheet will be submitted. Note that your instructor or placement site may have their own timesheet. If not, please view downloadad timesheet.

Service-learning is an academic course where a service project or service experience is part of the overall grade. In the spirit of learning-by-doing, Cal Poly Pomona faculty, staff and students actively support and engage in service-learning activities that build meaningful and sustainable community partnerships. An academic internship is where the student intern receives academic credit for their internship experience. The academic internship course will include significant involvement of student and their supervised faculty in planning, processing and evaluating the learning results from their experiences.
