Interview with Daniel Ehrlich

My name is Daniel Ehrlich, I am from Oceanside CA, and I am a 5th year senior graduating with a degree in Technology and Operations Management this spring. My plan is to take a few weeks off and then begin my full time job that I have accepted starting in June of this year. I will be starting an Outside Sales Trainee position with Walter’s Wholesale Electric Co. in Brea, CA. I want to go into management or sales. One of the reasons I decided to pursue the Outside Sales Trainee position is after the program I will have the opportunity to go into either Branch Management or a Sales position. I did not do any internships, I worked part time during school however. I would say to start networking and learning about potential career opportunities early in school. When you do this you will have the chance to see what types of jobs interest you and what companies you may want to work for. It is never too early to start preparing.
