Interview with Britney Ly

September 2021

My name is Britney Ly and I am currently a 3rd year student majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in TOM and a minor in CIS. I am also part of the Operations Management Society (OMS) club as the Vice President and Treasurer. After graduation in Spring of 2023, my current plan is to find a data analyst position and hopefully work for a company I would fit in with. If I find that I thoroughly enjoy analytics, I would consider enrolling in a master's degree program to further continue my education. I am still exploring my interests, but I am interested in the technology field and aspire to be a data analyst. I am currently interning at the Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing (CCIDM) at CPP as a research assistant. I started this summer of 2021, but I have learned a lot from this experience, such as doing literature review, working in small groups, and planning a research project. One advice I would give to other students is to get involved and take advantage of what CPP has to offer, such as joining clubs like OMS.
