Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Advisory Council (ATODAC)
The Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Advisory Council (ATODAC) is comprised of key campus stakeholders, including faculty, staff and students with broad representation across divisions and departments. Under the direction of the Vice President for Student Affairs, the ATODAC meets regularly regarding campus drug and alcohol abuse prevention program (DAAPP) components and effectiveness, collective policy, prevention and programming efforts, assessment data, and campus issues and/or trends.
The ATODAC annually develops and reviews the committee charge, goals, assesses the effectiveness of campus alcohol and other drugs policies and programs, and makes recommendations to the president in support of maintaining a safe, productive learning environment at Cal Poly Pomona. ATODAC members may also serve on the following ATODAC sub-committees: Policy, Compliance, Data/Assessment, Alcohol & Other Drug Programming, and Tobacco & Smoke-free Policy and Programming.
An ATODAC sub-committee conducts the biennial review in compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA). For further information or to discuss how you can get involved, contact:
