Public Lecture
Inspired Living: A Public Lecture
Date: May 11, 2014Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Location: Cal Poly Pomona Library, Room 1807
The modern generation, with all its gizmos and hi-tech entertainment, still finds life boring and depressing. The robotic patterns of waking up every morning, rushing to work and going through the motions of your job can be at times mind-numbing.
How many of us wake up inspired, looking forward, for example, to a day of service? Life can change magically from boredom to excitement when we are enthused to serve others. Inspiration gives people the courage to make life better for themselves, for those around them, and for generations to come.
What does it take to be inspired? Jaya Row will discuss the significance of inspired living for human success and happiness and explore ways which can help sustain inspiration to make life meaningful.
