Grade Change Options FAQs
For Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 Grades
Each term will have specific deadlines to opt-in. Continue to check your CPP email and the website regularly for information about when you will be able to change your grading options for Winter, Spring and Summer 2021 terms.
For Spring 2020 Grades
After May 8, 2020, you can change your grading choices by submitting an e-form on the Registrar's Office website (under the Registration/Records section). The Registrar's Office will begin processing forms on May 27, 2020, and it will take approximately 7-10 business days for your grades to update. See below for specific deadlines.

Yes. You will be able to choose which classes you want to take for ABC/No Credit.
We want you to make a thoughtful decision in consultation with your advisor and/or instructor. Up until December 6, 2020, you can make any edits to your grading options for fall 2020 in your BroncoDirect Student Center.
Regardless of your grading option, we will automatically convert all F grades into No Credit. This will happen as soon as your final grade is posted.
If you earn a D grade and didn’t opt into the ABC/NC grading option and you want to change, you can submit a form on the Registrar's Office beginning December 7 until December 21. The form will be posted on the main page of this site.

A No Credit (NC) is equivalent to earning a D+, D, D-, or F in an undergraduate course. A No Credit (NC) is equivalent to earning a C+, C, C-, D+, D, D- or F in a graduate course.
No Credit grades are not calculated into your GPA.

However, if after this consultation, you still need to withdraw, the deadline to petition for withdraw for serious and compelling reasons has been extended until the end of the term.
You’ll be able to see your final grades for fall 2020 in your Student Center the afternoon of December 16, 2020.
Choosing ABC/No Credit will not affect your fall 2020 fees.
There are no exceptions to the Dean's List requirements for 2020-21. The Dean's List honors undergraduate students who have completed, at Cal Poly Pomona, 12 or more letter grade units during the term with a 3.5 or better grade point average for CPP coursework.
