Cal Poly Pomona is Honored as a 2023 Equity Champion for Excellence in Transfer

The 2023 Equity Champion for Excellence in Transfer Award from The Campaign for College Opportunity recognizes the university as an Equity Champion for Higher Education for Latinx Students. The campus ensured that over half of our Latinx/o/a undergraduate transfer students from California community colleges in 2022 were ADT earners, and of those ADT earners, over half were on a guaranteed pathway.

$2.5 Million Grant to Strengthen Pipeline for Engineering and Computer Science Careers

A group of local school districts, community colleges and Cal Poly Pomona are the recipients of a $2.5 million grant to prepare more underrepresented students to complete college degrees and find careers in engineering and computer science.

The PolyTransfer team regularly collaborates with local community colleges on summer academies, other grant projects and current student programming.

CPP Celebrates Seventh Annual National Transfer Student Week

Cal Poly Pomona celebrated its seventh annual National Transfer Student Week from Oct. 16-19 with a series of events and activities honoring CPP’s transfer students. The annual celebration highlighted the contributions and achievements of transfer students while emphasizing resources and supportive workshops for the transfer student community.
