Technology Support
Technology is a crucial piece of the educational landscape today. As we return to more in-person instruction on campus, we know that WiFi, computer labs, and tech support are more important than ever. We’ve used the Student Success Fee to bolster these efforts in the following ways.
Strengthen WiFi and Network
In 2021-22, Information Technology installed 95 wireless access points in and around campus buildings and parking lots.
Expand IT Service Desk
The professional staff and 62 student assistants who helm the IT Service Desk are essential to our tech health: they troubleshoot software problems, lost passwords and computers on the fritz. Visit the Service Desk website to view support options available to all students.
Upgraded Technology
In 2021-22, we upgraded over 150 classroom audio/visual setups, including presentation technology, projectors and document cameras. The fee also supported funding for the Virtual Software Lab. Funds also go towards software licenses, maintenance and other student benefits.
