Understanding Your English and Math Categories

If you are joining CPP as a first-time freshman, you are required to complete your GE Area A2 (Written Communication) and GE Area B4 (Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning) within your first year.

If you have questions or need assistance making course adjustments, contact the Bronco Advising Center.

Finding Your Categories

  1. Log into MyCPP, and go to your Student Center.
  2. In the upper right hand corner, find your Holds box. If you are using a mobile device, you may need to scroll down the screen to find your Holds box. Click on the Details link.
  3. Click on the link for the Category you want to know more about. The details will tell you what Category you are placed in.
