Subject: Strike Cancelled and Classes Resume Tuesday, January 23

Dear Campus Community,

We’re pleased to share that CSU and the CFA, representing faculty, mental health counselors, librarians and coaches, have reached a tentative agreement on a contract and the CFA has cancelled the strike planned to take place at Cal Poly Pomona and other CSU campuses effective immediately.

Classes will resume at CPP on Tuesday, January 23, and it is expected that all striking employees will return to the classroom and work assignments.

Information for Students

Please check your email and Canvas for specific instructions from faculty/instructors regarding your classes.

We understand that some students may have difficulty returning on Tuesday. We encourage faculty to be flexible and understanding of individual circumstances. If students have questions, reach out to your faculty/instructor about class schedules, modality, assignments and attendance.

For questions about academics, registration or financial aid, contact the Bronco Advising Center. For other questions or if you are not sure where to go, please contact Weston Prisbrey, Interim Associate Dean of Students, at wprisbrey@cpp.edu or 909-788-3245.

We understand that the recent uncertainty may have caused inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Our priority is to ensure a smooth transition to the spring semester.
