Mary Bruno is a 5th grade teacher in Rialto USD. She has been involved in curriculum development and the development of district-wide assessments. Ms. Bruno was selected by Rialto USD to be a deliverer of professional development sponsored by CaMSP for teachers of grades 4 and 5. Ms. Bruno has served as a district-wide coach for mathematics and science, but loves being in the classroom.
Sue Chan is a middle school science teacher in Rialto USD. She selected by Rialto USD to be a deliverer of professional development sponsored by CaMSP for teachers of grades 4 and 5. Ms. Chan has been involved in curriculum development and development of district-wide assessments. Ms. Chan loves teaching life science to middle school students.
Jodye Selco is a Professor of Science Education (in the Center for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching – CEMaST) and Chemistry at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. She is actively involved in research in physical chemistry as well as the teaching and learning of chemistry by all students. Professor Selco has been working with the teachers in Rialto USD for many years and has developed many learning experiences in science for teachers and students in the Rialto USD which have been adopted by many other teachers.

This idea was originally developed during a professional development workshop for Rialto Unified School District teachers with funding from the California Mathematics and Science Partnership grant program.
Bo Yeun S. Choi is an instructional designer for eLearning at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She provides instructional design to assist faculty in redesigning existing courses or developing new courses for online, hybrid and web-assisted modes of instruction.
Erick Zelaya is a multimedia developer for eLearning at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has created many interactive simulations that help faculty demonstrate concepts that are otherwise difficult to explain to students throughout different disciplines.
