Pumpkin Fest is hosted on an active farm and continues to serve as a commercial operation while offering academic benefits to Cal Poly Pomona students.

As an active farm, there are inherent risks commonly associated with agricultural operations, and considerations should be made in advance as you prepare to visit the farm.

Visitors can expect to see heavy machinery/equipment and animals, and travel on unpaved or wet/soft surfaces in a typical outdoor environment.

Like all farms, it is subject to changing weather patterns. We recommend wearing layered clothing and proper footwear (i.e., closed-toe shoes).

During October, high temperatures can persist, so we recommend staying hydrated and rest under shade frequently. Shaded seating areas are available in multiple locations.
