Annual Notification Under the California Whistleblower Protection Act

Dear Campus Community,
The stewardship and care of the university’s finances and people are paramount to our ability to enrich lives and propel graduates into meaningful and fulfilling life-long careers. Students, families, and the residents of California depend on our careful consideration and use of the funds and resources we are given. So, to continually ensure our campus is doing our part to safeguard the university and university property, we routinely provide you with information about reporting improper activities of state agencies or employees involving any type of fraud, waste or abuse.
The annual California State Auditor’s Whistleblower Notice includes information on what to report, where to report, how to report, a statement on protection from retaliation for whistleblowing and a statement from the California State Auditor’s Office regarding the activities of that agency.
