Attending Your Orientation Day
We're So Excited To Welcome You to CPP!
If you do not attend Orientation Day, your admission to CPP will be withdrawn. If you can no longer attend your reserved Orientation Day, contact us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Be sure to include your Bronco ID so we can assist you quickly.
What to Expect
- At orientation, you will have the opportunity to learn about your college, receive academic advising, register for your first semester of CPP classes and meet students, staff and faculty.
- During advising and registration, you will meet in a small group with your advisor and other students in your major and then register for your first semester classes. Before you leave advising and registration, make sure you are registered for 12-15 units, have your Plan complete and know how to contact your advisor!
- You selected your Orientation Day when you make your orientation reservation. As a reminder, you only attend one Orientation Day.
What to Bring
- Laptop or tablet, with charger, to use during advising and registration (if you have one), WITH EDUROAM ALREADY INSTALLED
- Printed copy of your parking permit (instructions how to get your parking permit will be in your reminder emails)
- A copy of your unofficial transcripts and/or test scores, in case you need to reference them during advising and registration
- Comfortable shoes
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen and hat
- Backpack, notebook, and pen
- Light sweater or jacket for the morning, evening, and indoors
Coming to Campus
Parking Permits
Parking on Orientation Day is included in your Student Orientation Fee. Directions on how to register your vehicle will be in the reminder emails that you receive prior to Orientation Day. Be sure to check your CPP email!
Your vehicle MUST be registered to avoid a citation.
Parking Location
Parking for orientation attendees is in Parking Structure 2. You MUST park in this location with your Orientation Parking Permit. All vehicles must be registered in order to park, including those with a disabled placard. If you have any concerns about parking, please contact our office directly.
