  • Overlooking beautiful, rolling hills, the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch at Cal Poly Pomona boasts one of the area’s most romantic and chic settings. Operated and managed by hospitality management students, the restaurant embodies Cal Poly Pomona’s learn-by-doing tradition and is a central component to the food and beverage track of The Collins College of Hospitality Management’s curriculum. 
  • The Collins College of Hospitality Management is the oldest and largest hospitality management program in California. The college maintains a strong tradition of industry support. Contributions from the hospitality industry built the restaurant in 1990. Additional private support has funded dining room and kitchen remodels, which have kept the restaurant contemporary and state-of-the-art.
  • The Collins College of Hospitality Management is the first and largest hotel and restaurant management bachelor's degree program on the West Coast and is consistently ranked among the nation's premier hospitality management programs. 
  • The college started in 1973 with 30 students and two faculty members as a department in the College of Business Administration. The department was formed in response to the demand for qualified management professionals’ due to the hospitality industry's explosive growth.
  • Today with nearly 30 faculty members serving more than 1,000 ethnically diverse students, The Collins College offers a rigorous education firmly rooted in hospitality management theories and real-world applications. A customized curriculum prepares students for careers in hotel resort management, restaurant management, club management, culinary product development, tourism management, and special events/meeting planning.
