Building 48: Custodial Offices

South of Auto Shop (Bldg. 83).

With 130 buildings and 1,989,000 square feet of buildings on campus, the custodial crew is kept busy with a rigorous daily routine. The custodians begin their daily work at 3:00 a.m. to ensure that all classrooms, laboratories, restrooms and other public areas are clean and ready before the first class begins.
They provide general housekeeping tasks for the campus, respond to emergency cleanups, spray for insects inside of buildings, and provide any additional assistance to colleges and schools in their accreditation review process.
Their motto is to "create and maintain a clean, comfortable and safe campus environment."
