Innovative and integrative thinking, reflective practice, collaborative action, and learning by doing are central to our mission.
  • The university’s learn-by-doing teaching methods are used in all courses.
  • CEIS offers preparation for entering a variety of fields including early childhood, community services, government, law, public policy and health, school administration, social work, teaching, urban planning and graduate or professional schools.
  • CEIS offers direct clinical practice in schools and other community settings.
  • CEIS students gain broad experiences and develop the valuable skills to work with people from multiple backgrounds, abilities, cultures, identities, and group.
