Private Tutoring

 If, for any reason, a student needs additional help outside of the LRC or is not a Cal Poly Pomona student, below is a list of local tutoring programs. These outside tutoring services are in no way affiliated with or endorsed by the LRC, and are only provided here for your convenience.

Most high schools provide free tutoring through faculty and the National Honor Society. Please contact your high school to inquire.

Free Tutoring:

• Homewok Hotline: The Harvey Mudd College  Homework Hotline is an over-the-phone, mathematics and science tutoring service for students in grades 4 through 12. 
• Khan Academy: Students can make use of the extensive library of content, including interactive challenges, assessments, and videos from any computer with access to the web. Coaches, parents, and teachers have unprecedented visibility into what their students are learning and doing on  Khan Academy.
