Summer 2019 Femineer Day Camp

This summer, we hosted our first ever Femineer® Day camps. We hosted our first 5-day camp on June 24-28th and our 2nd camp on July 15-19th. During these camps, our Femineer® students (ranging from middle school to high school female students) were taught the creative robotics curriculum, and then they were able to create a final project demonstrating all the new skills they learned. They were not only able to learn about the Femineer curriculum, but they also explored Cal Poly Pomona and learned more about what it’s like to be an engineering student. We hope that with this experience our Femineers® want to continue to learn more about STEM and that they are inspired to pursue careers in STEM.
