Leanne Swanson is an experienced infrastructure safety expert with over 20 years’ experience guiding the protection, reliability, and resilience of the electric distribution and substation infrastructure. As the Director of Safety at Southern California Edison, she leads initiatives aimed at enhancing safety protocols and standards within the company and throughout the industry.

With a background in electrical engineering, Leanne brings a wealth of technical knowledge, leadership skills, regulatory expertise, and a relentless commitment to promoting a strong safety culture. Her innovative safety management approaches earned her recognition within the industry, and she is often sought for her insights.
