Global Engagement and International Programs

The mission of Global Campus is to lead the institutional efforts in helping to inspire our students to be globally conscious citizens who engage with, and positively impact, our region and the world.  Our goal is to further diversify our institution by promoting and facilitating international activities, strengthening inbound and outbound student mobility and faculty exchanges, and boosting international innovative programs through partnership building and collaboration with educational institutions, organizations, and agencies throughout the world.

The Global Campus serves as a central hub to support the university’s international programs and global engagement. The structure enhances communications and collaborations with related campus communities on international affairs.

Roles and Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities of Global Campus include but not limited to:

• Provide leadership and oversight in implementing CPP’s global mission and strategic plans to further internationalize our campus
• Establish strategic partnerships with peer institutions abroad
• Develop and administer programs ranging from education abroad, faculty/scholar exchange to professional training, language program, study@CPP, and customized programs
• Provide services to international students and scholars as well as domestic students
• Support international student recruitment, admission, and retention initiatives
• Host international delegations, and coordinate global engagement activities
• Represent CPP at international conferences and events to promote our institution
