Admissions Requirements
To be admitted to the Online program, applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association or have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by an appropriate campus authority; have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 or higher in the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) attempted; and have been in good standing at the last college attended. In addition, applicants must provide two letters of recommendation.
Due to the program being fully online, applicants from outside the United States should note that Cal Poly Pomona cannot sponsor the F-1 visa for international students. In addition, all applicants must have completed all the pre-requisite courses and submit a verification statement from an accredited university that has been approved by ACEND in order to apply.
State Authorization Regulations
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona is approved to offer online programs to students residing in the following states. This list will be updated upon additional authorizations/exemptions.
Approved States: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin

Applying
All graduate and post baccalaureate applicants (e.g., doctorate, master's degree applicants, those seeking credentials, and those interested in taking graduate level courses for personal or professional growth) must file a complete graduate/post baccalaureate application for admission. Applicants who complete undergraduate degree requirements at Cal Poly Pomona and graduate the preceding term are also required to complete and submit an application and the $70 nonrefundable application fee. All applicants should submit their applications through the Cal State Apply system at https://www2.calstate.edu/apply. The Cal State Apply system allows simultaneous applications to various programs within the CSU system, but only to one degree per campus.

We will accept a Verification Statement from an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) from anywhere in the USA in lieu of the following California State Polytechnic University Pomona-Department of Nutrition and Food Science Classes:
